Friendly House - Brentano Building
Built in the early 1900s, the Friendly House Brentano Building in NW Portland was originally a church. JE John completed a major renovation which included a seismic retrofit, new fire line and sprinkler system, new HVAC system to replace an ancient boiler in disrepair, new electrical service, and ADA upgrades including a passenger lift. The building is used as a preschool and has four classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and office space. Friendly House has been providing services since 1930 and is a valuable asset to the community. We were proud to help them achieve their dream of having a fully renovated building.
