Our Proud History

Returning from World War II and eager to start a new life, Clint John launched a home construction business in Vancouver, WA in 1947.  Over the years, CE John expanded and focused its services on commercial real estate projects including retail, office, and industrial property development.

As the company grew, the need became apparent that a sister-company focusing solely on construction would be the key to increased client success.  In 1983 Clint’s son, Jim John, established James E John Construction and we’ve been thriving ever since as a proud Vancouver based commercial builder.
